I need to change the boots for my rack & pinion on my 2001 z24. Anyone ever done these? Doesnt seem to hard to tackle or am I overlooking?
Practically just unscrewed outter tie rod and sliding the boots off and new ones on and clamp down then bleed the system then an aligment?
Thanks everyone, just wanted to get a bit of a 2nd thought
Thats basically sums it up, I may note you may need an inner tie rod socket shaft tool. Not sure if you could get a big cresent wrench in there.
