Heater core help!

Well i pulled my dash out and got to the heater core, pulled mine out and the new and old dont match...i ordered from rockauto for my year and iv been looking but the only 2 i see that look close are Delphi and the Ac delco.....Could someone help me figure out why the 1 i have is so different

look on my rock auto link, i bought the Spectra premium...thats the actual part and how its supposed to be

I know you bought a spectra, just like how I bought the same part a year ago. Mine was a lot closer to the factory one than that. The only difference with mine is I bought mine at Autozone .

well the spectra premium on rock auto and autozone have the same part number

I got the spectrum one, I just bent the 2 lines a little bit, No leaks no issues.

yea i found out they "swivel to fit" lol i got it in with no problem and the heater is working great

Mind if I ask how long it took you to pull and replace everything? I have no heat, no leaks or smell though, and I really don't have the 800$ the mechanic wants to replace the heater core.

I did my mine last winter on my 01 cavalier it took me 4.5 hrs to take out and re install the new core.
