what is the purpose of the metal coolant line that goes from the water outlet to the coolant bottle. my 00 z is leaking coolant where the metal line enters the water outlet. could that be removed and thread tapped and plugged.
it is to release air from your coolant if you get an air bubble in the system. Do not plug it, replace the o-ring.
thank you. shouldnt that o-ring have came with them new water outlet. does anyone know the size of that o-ring.
