I am wondering what the easiest way to get the air out of the cooling system is on a 1996 2.2l cavalier. I have tried things in the past and it seems just to difficult. I am wondering if anyone else has found an alternative method of doing this
thanks

There should be a little valve on the top(i believe) raditor hose. Open that and let the car run till you get a steady stream of coolant coming out. I'll take a pic when i get home.
There are two plugs on my 96's 2.2. I forget which one i opened, but open one and run the motor. Also keep and eye on your temp gauge for while when your driving it.
i hope this helps
Thanks that helps alot!!

What is the best way to accomplish this feat on a 2.3L???
I have never worked on a 2.3 or 2.4 so im not sure, but the rule of thumb is to find the highest point in the cooling system.
Will the 2002 Pontiac Sunfire have the same bleeder valves?
