so my old 2.2 is not getting any spark to num 1 cylinder. iv takin my 1 and 4 coil pack off and it tested good so in suspecting my ignition module may have went out. now my question is.. since the old 2.2 is on the back of the motor will the "I.M" off a 97 and up 2200 work on mine. they have diff part nums but look the same.
1997-2002 will work, just avoid the 1995-1996 ones. So yes to what ya asked.
but i have the 95-96 motor.. im asking if theyre the 97 and up will work on mine. i cant afford new so i i was guna go pull 1 off a 2200 since they r fairly easy to get to
what wiring harness do you have? That is what matters. I was going by your profile.
im not sure. i have a early 97 with the old 2.2 but iv looked at both I.M on online and they look to be the same
I would assume your car still has the 97 harness then. If it looks the same then go for it. Get one for a 97 to 02 and you should be golden.
