Ive tried looking for a driver side headlight lamp lens at the local auto wrecks no luck. I am curious when ordering from gm dealer In behind the plastic lense there are 4 black plastic prongs that clip onto thin bolts. are they include with the lense?. Or do I have to use the my old lense plate assembly.
Everywhere else sells it as a whole assembly. I am just wondering if they sell as a whole one from the dealer.
You can get a whole replacement headlamp from Depo on ebay for like $40 shipped. They fit just like stock.
yea i just got 2 for a friend for under $30 each. Light and mount

Awsome thanks for the helpful info guys.
Yeah I would never buy anything new from GM unless you need something to be brand new. I managed to drop my headlight when taking it off the car cracking the lens (DOH!). It took a little bit of looking but I finally found one at a wrecker for $30 and it was in better shape than the original. Better than paying whatever GM would charge. I had a bunch of rusty bolts I wanted to replace new and GM wanted $7 PER. I spent an afternoon at a couple wrecking yards picking out the ones that where not that bad and saved myself a hundred bucks.
If you can't find a lens there, I can take a look here and ship it too you. Our parts yards always seem to have a great supply of Cavaliers and Sunfires. Kind of sad when you see a great looking Cavalier on death row there because a simple fender bender that could have been fixed by just swapping bumpers.
