Please don't answer this in a smart a$$ way. I shaved all the holes in my front bumper. My plan was to either leave it shaved if it looked good, or to make a custom grill. After a lot of thought I actually love how it looks shaved. My question is will the engine overheat? Yes I do drive it but not very often. I'm worried putting a grill in might just look akward.

I would say yes it would u could always find something that resembles to a intake for a ram air hood that would take air from the bottom of the car and force air up to the radiator to keep it cool or maybe have a fan that is a little bit higher wind speed to it that will run even when the car is not hot so it won't get to the hot or warm area on your guage as fast...
