I am in the process of putting my 2.4 in my 99 Z24 back together. I bought all new lifters for the motor and am wondering if there is anything Im suppose to do do prep them. I know if you are going to reuse the factory lifters youre suppose to soak them in oil until you are ready to reinstall them. But what if theyre brand new?
I just use STP oil treat with a brush on newly parts. Then their is no rite away wear on parts.
