blue smoke!! help!!

What's up guys i've got a 02 cavy manual 5 speed with the ecotec motor. The problem i'm having is if the car is parked and is idling for a while all of a sudden a decent amount of bluish/grey colored smoke comes out of the exhaust. Also i've noticed that randomly when driving on the highway the car has a skip to it almost like it's got a misfire? And sometimes when driving around the city i'll get that rotten egg sulfur smell. But only once in a while? I don't know what could be causing any of these issues due to no warning lights, check engine light etc... Any help and input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Blue Is oil burning off in the motor. Does it use any oil between your oil changes?
How many miles, have you kept up on maintenance?

The sulfur smell is from your catalytic convertor, probably plugged, or just going bad. Depending on where you live...cut it out, deal with the CEL or just buy a replacement.

Yes it does use in between oil changes. I recently resealed my oil pan gasket (due to some oil residue on outside of pan) thinking that was the source of oil loss. Now just noticed the bluish smoke out of the exhaust after sitting at idle last night. As far as the cat the exhaust was replaced completely about 2 1/2 to 3 months ago so i don't think the cat would be bad /clogged. Oh and the car only has just under 111,000 on it.

I'd keep an eye on oil consumption, have you been the original owner? Know the previous life of the vehicle, beat on or babied?
Sounds like a crappy cat or it's clogged even. I'm not an expert on catalytic convertors though....no need for one
