So my car failed for inspection...the engine light does not come on. Its a little led built into the curcuit board. Does anyone have the wiring or could tell me where some wires go. On the plug the goes into the cluster i have a wire that got cut somehow and i cat find the otger end. Im hoping this goes to that light. If the plug is plugged in...it is the second one in from the right in the top....it goes black first then a grey one that is cut..then dark blue and black

so i figured out what that cut wire goes to...it goes to all the dash lights that light up when u turn on the parking lights....so thats no biggie...since those lights are replaced with leds and wored differently...soooo i am still at a loss as to if just this tiny tiny led is burnt out or is there a bigger problem...how do i test it..i tried with a tester but i dont think the led puts out enough power to light up my tester...i tried hooking another led to it..its a bigger one and i dont think its strong enough to power that either...i dont want to buy a whole new cluster if i dont need to...where else could be the problem
