I'm putting my 97 z24 back together and I notice on the end gaskets that the intake side that the orange seal faces toward the cam carrier, but the exhaust side faces toward the timing cover. I would figure they both would face toward the cam carrier to seal in the oil. I know if I flip the exhaust cam end gasket then the gasket doesn't match up with the outline of the cam carrier. Any advice or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
