i have notice my fuel pump making a constant noise coming from the tank. Would that be a sign that the pump is on its way out. 95 2.2 ohv

Mine did that too, shortly after cleaning the fuel system, but I filled it up to the top and after a while it went back to normal.
I'm not sure but I think my pressure regulator started working better, and now that I fill up more often, I see that the fuel level varies
by about as much as an entire quarter of a tank. The more fuel in the tank, the more the reading varies, it seems.

Are you keeping the tank full?

Did you clean your fuel system recently?
And is your fuel filter new? They should be changed every year.

(In my case what I did, when I filled it to the top and the noise was still there initially, is I once again put about half as much or less, of what a can of
regular Sea Foam says to add, about 4 ounces and topped it off again. Then the noise went away.
I have had good results with Sea Foam, but if you use it just be careful and know how much the bottle says to use at the most.)
