so i was driving around town today and noticed that my car was overheating.
for the past few months, my car has been leaking fluid from around the front two tires.
i would park it in my driveway after coming home from work, and the next day there would be a big puddle of fluid right underneath.
i went into a "big o tires" today and had the guys there take a look at it.
i've taken my car here before in the past, they've replaced the water pump and other minor things.
after they looked it at, one of the main guys said that there were "several oil leaks" from the upper and lower red hoses.
he also said that the radiator was leaking at both of the seams.
after working on it for a few hours, i went back to pick up my car and see how much the damage was.
i ended up paying $385.71 after tax.
parts:
- new radiator ($178.98)
- upper radiator hose ($18.65)
- lower radiator hose ($21.95)
- coolant ($14.95)
total: $234.53
labor:
$133.00
tax:
$18.18
do you guys think i paid a decent price to get my car fixed today?
or did i pay too much?
