I have a 1996 chevy cavalier four door with the 2.2l and id like to get rid of the cat or hollow it out but what do i have to do to make the check engine light come on or so it doesnt through codes
i ment so the check engine light does not come on
So did you just hollow yours out then?
Me, no. I put on a high flow that threw a CEL. But that anti-fouler thing worked fine.
Been using the fouler for the last 4 years and never had any problems or CEL codes on that car
What do you guys think of just putting a straight pipe where the cat goes?? Good or bad
Check the second link I posted and then make your mind and the first one is to prove that a hollowed out cat loses power if it wasn't clear.
