So, I took my head to the machine shop and they said that it was warped 9 thousands of an inch is this alot? should I be worrying about clearance issues? They are also rebuilding it as the valves were not seating properly.
I am looking for struts for my newly aquired Eibach pro-kit performance coils, If anybody has some?
If it wasnt usable they would have told you. And you can get a clearanced head gasket if you think that will be an issue.
Ok thanks Jordan, This is the first time I have done this so I am learning as I go. Any pointers on putting everything back together once I get the head back? What should I clean the block deck with so that I get a clean surface to mate the head to?

90 degree angle die grinder with 3M/scotchbrite pads, and lots of brake cleaner. Dont stay in one spot too long, let tge pads do their job, even pressure but not forcing it... and keep debris out of cylander holes and water/oil passages. Not sure if there are any other things to look out for with these engines in specific... i just know how we do it at work, but i work on tractors...
I would stone the block and head.
see ya!
