Im not sure if this issue was beforehand, but heres the deal. We changes a motor in a 97 cav, the VSC wires were cut, i simply reattached and I get speed reading thru the OBDII, my scanner reads it. There is nothing on the cluster, I think it may be the cluster thou. Any one agree?

There is a dedicated output from the PCM to the C100 connector that is for the speedometer in that. I'm pretty sure it's a green wire, but I don't know what pins they go to on either end right off hand. You probably pinched/broke that wire.

i got the car offa someone else, the clain the 2.2 ohv would not work, said they tried 3? i know they are a bunch of hillbillys thou haha. Ill look into wires, see whats what and if it gets signal. thanks
