easy job, don't need any info on how to do it, just wondering if someone could tell me what size wrench is needed for this. i really don't want to drag a whole bunch of wrenches home if i don't have to.
just grab an adjustable crescent wrench then, 2 makes it easier
i would prefer to use standard wrenches if possible. i'm not a big fan of crescent wrenches, but thank you for your input.
Just giving ya two cents, took me a matter of 5 minutes or less when I had the crescent wrench.
most gm cars are 22mm or 21mm for the outer tie rod jam nut, 13mm for the hex on the inner tie rod and 18mm for the outer tie rod to knuckle nut..
are you from clubcavforum?
thank you. i am on clubcav.com and ecotecforum.com mostly.
hopefully the oem part is still there cause if its aftermarket the wrench sizes could be different.
i put an autozone tie rod end on and it was to the same spec as oem. i couldn't find my 21 though, so i made a 7/8 work.
