ok so i just got my 2000 cavalier going after 3 years sitting... basically gotten everything squared away for the most part except this... i am not too familiar with 2000 up j's as mine have always been 95-99 so bare with me!
when i first start the car, the DRL light flashes a couple times, the cluster blows out a couple beeps/chimes then the service light comes on.
my DRL's arent functioning at all. and my driver side headlight is dim as compared to the passenger side.
any ideas as to wtf is going on?
(bah, forgot we had a maintenance section, my bad guys.)

I choose the technology built for land speed records... not the technology built to save on emissions and gas mileage.
Check drivers bulb. check ground for drivers headlamp. Start there.
welp, put a new bulb in... no effect. put a new DRL relay in, no effect.
i dont see how this could be a main grounding issue as the entire harness is grounded via a spade right off the main plug harness located under the battery tray. if this ground were compromised all of the lights would have to be dim, would they not? the only one affected is the driver side 9007 bulb. either way i checked it, removed the bolt and spade, cleaned it as best i could in the space provided and cleaned the bolt. i dont see how this can be the issue.
any ideas?

whats your voltage at the plug?
LOL wow i fail.
it was the "LTHDL" fuse in the dash fuse panel.
i swear i looked in there in the very beginning and saw no such fuse. haha oh well, its fixed now. driver's bulb is nice and bright like it should be and the DRL's work like they should.
