I have an 05 Sunfire, and it is shifting oddly. Under light acceleration when the car shifts from 3 to 4 the RPMs drop down to about 1100, and the car gets sluggish. If I tap the brake slightly the car builds RPMs. I believe that it is the torque converter locking up, but I am not sure.
Any ideas?
if you upgraded you wheels to a larger size it maybe be sifting to early - you have 18" or something?
Nope, I have the factory 16" rims and tires on it.
Any update to your problem? Ive been following this thread mine is shiftin funny too. I wanna think its a ecu problem. Ive also been reading about a bad solenoid?
