I have poly bushings, all engine/trans mounts & a arms, STD coilovers with pillowball mounts.. All are brand new. Ever since the car has been back on the road, it makes 1-2 popping sounds under initial acceleration, and during decel close to a stop. Although faint, you can feel it, it's not just a noise. It is random, has nothing to do with the wheel being turned, or side to side weight shifting. The best I can find is a potential cv joint issue? The axels had zero problems when removed from my ln2, but noticed it right away once the Eco was in.
If its cv related.. Is it a ticking time bomb? The car not safe to drive?
After further reading it does not at all sound like cv failure.
It reminds me of the popping noise my cobalts steering rack would make. The cavy doesn't make it while turning the wheel like the SS did though. Idk, I'm stumped. It's not getting any worse. Could it be related to the rack? We did drop the subframe to install a sway bar.
I'd check all the subframe bolts, what about the strut mounts are they new too?
Id run over all the bolts again. after driving a few hundred miles, rechecking everything is a great idea.
i'm having the same problem with my 05 cav. ...feels like its right at my feet. Thought it was an engine mount but Isolated my noise to the sway bar bushings. You could disconnect the s-bar at the control arms and drive it to see if the noise is gone...move the disconnected bar up and down and see if it makes noise.
Now that I know what it is; I'm going to live with it. Gotta disconnect the i-shaft and lower the subframe on mine to get at the bushings.

My STDs have 4x pillowball mounts. They have < 1500 miles on them.
I seen people have this problem from the following things which I know you have it across most of these.
bad motor mounts, bad strut mounts, loose subframe bolts, and bad cv axle.
I would start by going over all suspension bolts again (including subframe, sterring rack). Then going over the lower motor mount bolts as well. Then consider pulling and inspecting strut mounts, and then axles.

My friend & I checked over all the subframe bolts n such.... nothing was loose per say, but he got 1/4 to 1/2 turn on a couple bolts, they were tight but now they're @!#$ tight. No more cahunk noise now. Must have been just enough play in there somewhere to allow it to flex a lil. Alls good now. PHEW!
