my steering wheel on my 97 sunfire is turned to the right when the tires are stright. what should i do .. and the tires are at the right pressures but i dont know what i need or should do
Pull the wheel off and put it straight. Unless the car pulls to the left or right and then you need a alignment
I would definitely get an alignment before readjusting the steering wheel
and i think 2 rims on my car may be bent i dont know for sure or not but i think they are cuz i does pull to the side at time
+2 on getting an alignment.
align it, you may need ball joints or tie rods to correct it. cheap n easy to do

alignment shop
you have some bent parts or some severely worn parts
doesnt sound very good at all...
has it been wrecked?
youll need to have nice tires on the front before they will attempt to align it
if it doesnt pull severely and if the car is not a nice clean low mileage car then it may not be worth the cost or be feasible or make much dollar sense to try and correct this
unless they will do it for cheap

damaged rack and pinion
bent or worn tie rod end
bent subframe and or cradle
bent control arm
bent or damaged strut and or strut mounting location(car body tub upper strut well/tunnel)
severely worn or damaged ball joint
ive seen all of the above over the years on customers cars at our shop
including bent control arms severely damaged
totally separated and apart ball joints
TRE's that have separated and come apart and or broken off
racks that have been damaged one side yanked out or pushed in internally due to hititng something too hard such as parking curbs etc, which also will bend control arms and control arm mounts and engine frame cradle
all these will cause alignment issues and steering wheel position to be off
