sorry for the double post, same problem as i stated. it seems as though i'm hitting the brakes around 75 mph for a second or two, then returns to normal. maybe a minute later it does it again. the problem really starts around 70 and continues on up. 60 and below it doesn't happen. the engine sounds normal when this occurs. btw, it is a 99 2.2l 3spd auto. thanks in advance for any help

Tranny may be sliiping in the high gear, check fluid, that one had a dippy stick. it shoulod be cherry red, if its not make just a change of fluid and filter may help. it may be low too. easy things first
