I used one of those Stant Superstat heavy duty Thermostat and new gasket also. The only thing is they put in 1 Jug of Straight dexcool with a jug of 50/50 and didn't add any more water. What will be the ratio of the coolant? I just wanna know if it will be 70:30 ratio.

With a gallon of pure anti-freeze and a gallon of 50/50 I'd say your ratio is about 75/25 right now.
I appreciate that I just wanted to know what the ratio was or could be and Thank You. I am also wondering though why fan will come on and stay on every once in a while and when it cools down it does not shot off? I know that all the hoses are pressurized know do you think there might still be an air bubble in it or is it because I got one of those Stan Superstat that says 180 degrees on the box, but online it says 192?

You can buy a vacumm style gauge to test the coolants hot/cold ratio. There not to expensive and cost 5-10 bucks average sold at most auto stores. It just sucks up the coolant out of the resivour or rad and needle or plastic beeds rise to point of coolants protection. As for specs on parts versus the box compared to online sites,I go with box over specs from auto site. You have to realize the specs vary on make, model etc and you would be suprised at the mis---- information auto sites provide for parts compared to the real part. They goof up things and would suggest checking other sources to arrive at a more reasonable answer.I know my chiltons/haynes say one thing, auto stores another divide the difference.Just a thought and tired so just trying explain.
Yeah I did that and it is right where I want it to be maxed out on cold and the hottest too. I do think there are still some small air bubbles in the system because my fan will come on, then shut off after cooling like it should do a couple times then the last time I let it idle it would come on the second time or third time and stay on even after the car had dropped temperature below the 195 mark, could this be because of the Stant Superstat being 180 degree Thermostat or because of a small residual air bubble still in the cooling system? It has not overheated and stays right where it is suppose to stay though. Also the hoses are not soft either.

My cooling Fans are staying on even after the car cools down below the half mark and wont shut off till' I shut the car off what could be causing this? I know I had to change the water pump yesterday after it started to leak from changing coolant and that solved the coolant leak and know the fan will not shut off after the engine cools down.
