So I have a 2004 cavalier 2.2 ecotec auto 185392 miles on it
Just got the car a few months ago everything fine until one day
It started smoking(blue smoke) found alot of oil in intake cleaned pcv valve
now I have no more oil in intake but still will smoke when it sits at idle for a while
Not getting hot not losing any antifreeze. Alot of oil buildup in tail pipe.
No build up on oil cap no gas smell/oil in anti freeze. Coolent level doesnt change
Just looking for suggestions if im on the right track before tearing it down.
Blue smoke = burning oil
Is that tube from the intake housing to valve cover still in place?
- 2004 Cavalier - 124k, owned since new
Yes just checked it have I guess what they refer to as
Peanut butter build up (a little) not much where the hose
Connects to the valve cover
