my 97 sunfire is having problems starting in the morning as soon as i get it going it works great for the rest of the day but when it comes to starting in the morning its a pain or it takes me 25 30 mins to get it going it trys turning over but it just wont wont start it seems like the engine is gitting to much gas but im not sure if you can help me out any . please comment thank you soo much
When it's having trouble starting, what happens when you go to WOT while trying to start? Does it fire up easier?
i find it amusing that SHOoff has nothing better to do but follow me around & be an unhelpful dick in even cross-forum. - Jon Mick
just in the mornings the first time i try to start it for that day i have a butt loads of problem it cranks an not the starter soo i dont know whats wrong
I was asking if you ever try holding the throttle wide open while cranking. If it's actually flooding this should help the issue. When your engine is under something like 400rpm and you hold the throttle past 80% the computer will stop running the fuel injectors. If it's flooded this should help it start.
