Was driving to work yesterday, and realized, the car was at operating temperature, but i was still freezing. I stopped to check the hoses, to see if the water was circulating to the heater core, because everything was fine before, and it almost sounded like a little diesel engine. It was running fine, had plenty of power, but something wasnt right. I am going to get it today, and im starting with the lower front cover, because im leaning towards the lower timing chain or something failed in the water pump. Hoping someone has delt with this before.

Btw the car is a 2003 cavalier 2.2 ecotec
