Ok i own a 96 pontiac sunfire with a 2.2 OHV motor 5 speed manual

On days where the tempature changes from like 20 deg to like 50degs the car has a hard time idleing.
I get it to start and run with my foot on the gas peddle to keep the idle up and going down the road its a manual so keeping it in gear and down shifting prevent it from stalling once the car heats up to operating temp the rough low idle gose away any ideas?

Any CEL?? Sounds like this could be a IAT sensor issue.
