Hello guys have what I hope to be a simple question, can a ICM from 1999 sunfire 2.2L fit on a 1997 Sunfire 2.2L. I do understand that the locations are differnt as the 1997 is behind the block and the 1999 is beside the master cylinder. But have a spare 1999 engine kicking around and would like to know if the swap is possible. Thanks in advance.

No it wont work. 95-97 are all wired differently. you need a 98+ ICM
