My car has been making an annoying ticking/ rattling notice. I am pretty sure it's the timing chain from other videos.its done it since I bought it a few years ago. Well every cavalier I heard has done it. It's a 2000 z24 5 speed with 150,000 miles. I was wondering what all I should replace when doing it , since it appears to be a big job and I may be able to access some thing easier when it's all apart. I thought about doing the clutch too since its original. I do not know how long they last or what brand to get. It's all stock. Is there a timing gear kit? I can't find one just the chain.
