will changing bcm affect my mileage on my car, or possibly set the theft lock on my radio? i have heard some people say it will and i dont want my mileage to change nor screw up anything else, 05 cavi 2.2 eco, the new (to me) will be an 04 cavi 2.2 eco, anything change if i do this?
I know for a fact that it will change the mileage to whatever the other car was.
Not sure about the stereo but id imagine itll cause issues since the radio is connected to the bcm,.
You can swap bcm and milearge will change also but go to gm with car and bring your old bcm with and they can take info off old one and program it to new one
