OK guys sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here but I searched and didn't find EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Wtf is the slight rattle noise on 2.2 Eco in a cold start only for the first 10 sec or so???? Please help
some cars do this on cold start till the oil gets to the top of the valves. so this may very well be normal
I realize this is a month old, but I get the same kind of rattling. Almost like a tin can bouncing around near my timing chain...I'm just hoping that it's not. It does it every once in a while. Cold. Operating temperature. Really doesn't matter. I have the 1998 2.4L cavalier. can anyone assist me on this?
Figured out that it was my A/C compressor clutch. Had the thing removed so it's all quiet again
