So suddenly my 2 door 2001 z24 passenger door wont open. good thing the door panel was already off.

so.......

** Using the button on driver side or my key fob, it makes the noise to unlock. but on unlock it seems very weak. but locking its normal.

** The rods look to be just fine, all hooked up and all.

** Wont open from either side.

** But what gets me. It seems to be jammed locked. If I pull the little tab button thing inside the door by the handle, you really gotta pry it back but it doesnt unlock or stay, just kicks right back...

So im thinking a stuck/seize actuator maybe???

But also, anyone know any tricks to getting this darn thing open?

i figured it out today. seemed the locking rod somehow got jammed in the lock cylinder and wasnt allowing it to unlock,
