Cruise control dosent work.. I have a cavalier 2000 with the 2.4 ld9 std.
Did it just start doing this? Make sure that the clutch pedal switch is retracting all the way, and the the pedal is not bent over a bit, and that the brake switch is good. Check fuses and such.
