Hello!

I have a 2000 Sunfire 2.2 and the Theft System light and Service light came on, then the temp and gas gauges got weird. It ran fine, but I rushed home and then the engine wouldn't turn off and the lights wouldn't turn off. It's throwing U1064 and P1626 codes - anyone ever had this happen? I had to pull the ignition fuse and disconnect the battery to shut everything off.

Update - the car sat with the battery unplugged since Monday. I plugged the ignition fuse in and reconnected the battery to bring it inside and the radio came on without the key, but the engine started and shut off normally. The Pontiac light in back is also always on. It was also running rough and popping, but that may be that the battery is low because I don't think it is charging. The plan is to take the dash off as I need new bulbs anyway and start fishing for a short - any advice is still appreciated.
