I'm worried about the timing chain I think the most. I can't see any excess RTV on the timing cover. Is there anyway to figure out if it's had a timing chain already?
What would you worry about the most with no history?
I put in a new chain and gear set on my 88 (V6) because it had something like 187,000 when I bought it. Probably a good idea to put a new set in your engine.
