Ive gott an 02 cavalier with less than 40,000 miles on it and 2nd gear shelled out w/o warning. I mean i have never speed shifted this tranny or grinded gears or anything. I have raced it about 10 times thats about it. I have the ecotec motor with the getrag tranny. just wandering if anybody else has shelled a tranny. Its a thousand dollar repair bill. The syncros and the shifting sleeve? are both shot along with the shifting fork. The clutch and everything else look fine. Any response would be appreciated.
