k yah its as is, i shift into 2nd and it will go straight into neutral, is my tranny @!#$ or is my synchronizer for 2nd gear, ill shift and goes back to neutral no matter what, liek ti wont stay unless i hold it in
sounds like syncros to me...
Maybe the shift cable needs adjustment. Also, try eyeballing the shift mechanism (from the lever to the transmission) to see if something could be blocking or obstructing the proper and full movement of the shift lever. Or maybe something in the linkage is worn causing the shift lever to have excessive play or movement.
