I have a 1997 cavy z24 witht he power sunroof. Last Summer my sunroof gave out.. If I go to push the open/close botton all it does is grind, does not open. I'm guessing its the gears or the motor? Has anyone else here had this problem and if so how much am i looking at to get this fixed. (I'm in Canada)

I'm having this problem with my 2000 cavy...factory sunroof. i replaced the button and took part of the headliner down to get to the motor. i loosened the motor mount and dropped it and had to re-time it...it's supposed to time itself, but i had to do the trial and error thing. i think i need to replace my motor because it's not fixed...i just had to do that so i could close the roof so rain, etc wouldn't get in...

i could use some assistance as well...
