yes it would if you had the 97 engine it wouldnt fit the 98 to 2002 are the same 2200 engine
do a z24 engine swap ... dont do a 2200 to 2200 swap .. its pointless

how hard is it to swap a 2200 out and a 2400 Z24 in? i would assume u need to change motor, trans, mounts, harness, computer, cv's...could get pricey
