Ok, im having some problems with my 96 Z24 and after some research i just want to double check before i start spending the money.....
First, i am having problems with my idle. Sometimes it gets rough and surges from 500-1100 and if i give it just a very small amount of gas the car stumbles and almost dies. Usually when this happens i throw a CEL and when i had them checked i had one code for "system too rich (bank1)", and "system too lean (bank1)". My guess for this problem is my o2 sensor in the exhaust manifold.
Second, i am having a problem with when i pull out from either a complete stop of from a rolling stop. The car kind of bogs down like im losing power and takes about 2-5 seconds before it recovers. This makes it kind of scary pulling out into traffic. My guess for this is the ICU or Ignition Control Unit. I also plan on doing a full tuneup (coilpacks, wires, plugs)
thanks for the help in advance

I would say you prolly have a problem with a vaccum leak or a bad iac sensor. Check the small hose that goes from your manifold to the throttle body I had one get a crack in it and it caused similar problems.

Yes officer I knew the speed limit was 50
the noise you hear is proboly a vacumm leak as stated before, did you use a new gasket for your IAC? Also the ignition control moduale controls ignition ust like it says, it would couse no spark not a bog. Your first problem will cause a bog.
