I posted this earlier but i still cant fix the problem...

I put my car into the curb in order to avoid a cat.....(wish i had hit it now), anyway my right hand side hit the curb and grinded up my mag, ever since then though, i have had two sounds that bother me...

1. when ever i go over 40 kmh there is a rubbing sound coming from the right hand front tire. it is not constant but it feels as though it is doing it with the rotation of the wheel. I know that it is not the cv, i was wondering if balancing could cause this problem???


2. when ever i go from one steering lock to the other there is one loud knock, then nothing out all untill the next time i do the same thing....eg reversing out of the drive, turn steering full lock one way to go onto road, stop, turn steering full lock other way, take off slowly, BANG.

any ideas would be great

For sure you wheel bearing is shot. That explains the grinding with the rotation of the wheel. As for the loud knock? Could have damaged more in the suspension. Take it somewhere to get it checked out.
