I have a 1995 z24 cavalier, I need to know step by step (or something) on how to change your fuel filter. If anyone can help let me know. Thanks alot!

it's mounted behind the passenger rear wheel. All you need is two wrenches (can't remember the size) and a pair of pliers. On one side is a plastic clip the you'll use the pliers on and the other side is a hard-line that's bolted to the filter. Use one wrench to hold the filter and the other to turn the hard-line nut. It's easy as pie. You might need a flat-head screw driver for the plastic side, can't remember that either. Sorry if I'm not help.

Find a good No Smoking area.
Get on your back under the rear of car.
Find your fuel filter.
On side unscrews, the other unclips.
Unscrew and unclip as needed. Keeping mouth closed at all times, closing eyes as needed.
Remove old fuel filter.
Insert new fuel filter.
Screw and clip as needed.
Get out from under car.
Take a shower if needed.

go buy a Haynes manual, they are very thuro on tools needed, and step by step porcess. you can get them at most any automotive store. mine cost me about $20, but it payed for it self about 80 times over now. now i dont need to get a mech to do simple work on my car, most of it i can do my self now. granted i still need help every now and then. but who doesnt. and you should fine the right size wrench size, and go to the store and get a hard line wrench, its the same as the box end of your box end open end wrenches, but its only 6 pointed, and is ment for working on fuel/brake lines, because the regular wrenches can strip then nuts, and possibly twist the hard lines. while these wrenches will help prevent that by grabbing the hole nut, not just 2 sides like a cresent wrench, or 3 with the regular wrenches. i think on my car, its 15mm and 14mm wrenches needed.
