My wiper arms need a coat of paint, but after removing the nut they won't budge. Any suggestions or tips on how I can remove them? Thanks

heat up the base of the arm with a pen torch or heat gun.....thread the nut back on a couple of turns and gently tap on the stud and pull up on the arm at the same time.....if you pound too hard, you will break the plastic mounts that hold the wiper assembly to the car that are under the widshield shroud. Patience on this one.....heat, tap, heat, tap.....and it will pop off.


If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence you tried!
