I have a 2005 cavalier LS sport with stock rims and tires and when i turn to the left and press on the breaks i heard a loud rubbing noise and i can feel it in the floorboards, it does the same thing when the brakes are not applied but not as hard, what would this be?
also it feels like there is resitence when i turn to the left also?
My mom's 2000 Cavalier was doing this a few weeks ago and when she had it checked out, it turned out to be her brake rotors and pads. After they were fixed, all was well
thank you so much i'm taking it in for service tuesday, would this cause accelration to be slightly slower because of the rubbing of the pads??
I found out what it was, it was my rack in pinon was leaking power steering fluid, i'm getting it fixed next week...
