ABS Sensor?
Tuesday, April 05, 2005 1:15 PM
Just curious but is there a sensor for the abs that makes the abs light come on, on the cluster? i noticed the last few days that my light comes on sometimes. first time i noticed it was when it was pouring rain outside (we had like 3 days straight of rain here, dont know if something could of been wet or what not) my car slid a bit when i braked and the light came on. now sometimes it just comes on when i drive. i had a problem like this before where it was a faulty harness but that was fixed by the dealer about 3 years ago. any chance that it could be the same harness again or a sensor? nothin' happens to the car, car starts up fine and runs fine.

How about if the ABS, the Traction Off, and the check engine light all come on at the same time. For no reason whatsoever, these three lights will come on. The car runs fine, but no ABS or Traction Control. I could care less, but the girlfriend doesn't like it much.....you know how they are.....blah blah blah......the car isn't safe, and I could kill myslef driving it....blah blah blah!! Please make the yelling stop...someone help!!

You have a front abs sensor right behind the rotors on each wheel. Check the wiring there, sometimes you just need to unplug them, clean the senor side and the plug side with electrical connector cleaner, then put some electrode grease in there and plug them back togather. This should correct the issue when its wet outside.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.
