I have a lot of coolant leakage around my ac compressor and above it. I believe it might be a hose thats cracked that could be causing my coolant to leak. However, I hear that it could be my water pump. Can anyone post a pic of the water pump for a 2.4 cavy?
it probably isn't your water pump because if i remember right it is inside the timing cover, and driven by the timing chain(i think, not sure on this, probably want to wait for confirmation) i hope this helps, but probabaly not.

yes water pump is chain drivin i drove my car with no belt for almost 2 days and no temp increase.lol just a dead battery
if it is leaking in the front of the engine, it is not the water pump. The water pump is on the back of the engine under the exhaust manifold.

it could be the radiator hose that T's by the thermostat, exposed bolthead on the ac compressor on mine wore thru the hose, of course mine is a 2200. i don't know layouts for eco's
so , basically I should change out the upper and lower hoses that connect to my ac compressor and radiator?
