I need some advise on what could be the problem with my car. it will start after several trys but once it starts it will idle real rough. if I give it any gas then it will bog down and try to die. if I ease onto the gas up into the mid rpms and give it more gas then it sounds like it is misfiring or something and it pops real bad. you can hear it sucking alot of air but it just bogs down. I just put an HO intake mani on it a week before it started having these problems, I thought it might be the gasket I used so I changed both intake and throttle body gaskets but that did not help. I quadruple check every connection and vacuum hose on it. I am using an egr simulator and a stock 2.4 tb so none of the sensors were messed with. I then changed my fuel pump and that was not the problem, but I was needing to change it soon anyways when I put the rest of the turbo parts on. I checked and changed the coil packs, coil pack housing and spark plugs thinking that it might have went bad, but no go. I still cant figure out what the problem is, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

had the same thing happen o me after i changed my head gasket ended up being the new cables and plugs, replace them and you should be good, hope this help is in time before you send it to some shop and pay through the nose.
