Interior fan

I noticed the other day that my interior fan( the one that blows the hot and cold air into the car) isn't blowing as hard. It still blows but when it's at full blast it feels like it's at only half way. What are somethings I should look at to see if I can fix it? I am willing to replace the whole thing but I just want to know where to start? Would the HVAC controls have any effect on this?

it sounds like its the resistor which is located behind the blower motor. the blower motor is that big black round thing under the dash in the passenger side..you would have to remove the 3 bolts from the motor and its harness...then if you look back farther there will be somthing that looks like a fuse, thats the resistor...remove that and replace it. btw the only place i could find that had this resistor was the Gm dealer, i belaive it was like $30

Is there any way to test the resistor before going out to buy one. I look on the trouble page we have on here it says that the high settings should still work but not the low settings. As far as I have noticed the low settings are still working but not the high settings. Thats why it's not blowing as hard.
