Oil on valve cover
Tuesday, May 03, 2005 11:20 AM
First off, i had the head gasket and cylinder head had to be replaced about 2 1/2 years ago. I noticed this about....7 or 8 months ago, but i get a little bit of oil around the breather tube on the valve cover. I heard thats normal, but i'm just making sure i don't have to replce anything else

Thanks in advance

It's just a little bit of blow by and its normal as the rings and seals wear with age. It might go away if you replace the seal that the breather sits in. The rubber seal will harden with age and not seal the same as when new. If you do change it change the PVC Valve at the same time.
