Has anyone replaced their throttle cable? The plastic clip that retains the cable to the t/b bracket broke, so I'll need a new cable, or a new plastic piece.
Any ideas?

Built not bought, check that!
FYI, incase anyone hits this with a search. The part number for a 2.4L throttle cable is:
22618841
Hope that helps someone...

I had to replace my throttle cable a couple weeks ago. it just frayed from me bending it too much and broke. well I pulled mine from a junkyard for $5
the hard part is usually getting it loose from the firewall
the gas pedal is pretty easy , you need to pull the plastic part off the pedal at the top then the cable will slide up and out of the top of the pedal assembly
and im guessing you dont need to know how to remove it from the tb
once that is done make sure you head is clear from the hood , and you have a pair (atleast 1) glove on , and grab the cable and just yank that should pull the cable loose from the firwall (if your getting a used cable do not remove it this way , cause it wont snap back into the firewall)
then just inser the new cable in to the firewall first , and go under the dash and pull hard on the cable to make sure it seats in the firewall , then hook the pedal back up , then the tb bracket and tb
your done
i broke mine getting it out and just used some silicone and a flatwasher to hold it in the firewall....it works. it was a bitch to pull though without breaking the tabs off.
